Jesse Jackson Thinks It’s Ok For Obama To Be Called A Food Stamp President

Apparently Jesse Jackson thinks it ok for Newt Gingrich to call Pres. Obama the Food Stamp president.  From this article Jesse states:

Rev. Jackson used his regular Saturday morning service at the Rainbow PUSH headquarters on the South Side this weekend to put a different spin in Gingrich’s remarks.  Jackson said, “It’s an honor to be a food stamp president.”  Speaking to his congregation, Rev. Jackson listed the benefits of the program, which has grown some sixty-one percent over the past four years.  About forty-six million people now receive food assistance,

In his remarks, Rev. Jackson went on to say, “Food stamps feed the hungry. Food stamps save the children. Food stamps help the farmer. Food stamps help the truck driver. Food stamps help the warehouse. Food stamps help the store. Food stamps hire people and feed people. Food stamps save people from starvation and malnutrition.”

In remarks directed at Gingrich’s characterization of President Obama, Rev. Jackson said,” Whenever you attack feeding the hungry, you undermine the moral authority of our faith.”

It’s this attitude by Jesse Jackson which has kept the poor in this country down and unable to compete in our capitalistic society.  This is the difference between Newt Gingrich and Obama in that they see the role of government very differently.  Obama wants to support people in every aspect of their lives. Newt on the otherhand wants to set people free by creating an economy where they will be able to find a decent paying job.  Hopefully this election the poor realize they are being duped by the Democrats in that they are trading their votes for a life of being controlled by the government.

WARNING: Left Leaning Pollsters Are Trying To Make Romney Look Inevitable

This morning I noticed morning Rasmussen is out with polls showing that Obama is falling behind Romney.

How in the world could this be if Romney is losing to Obama with independents and as we know Romney does not have strong support from the Republican base?

What should stand out is how these pollsters are trying to show Newt Gingrich losing to Obama by 10 points.  Seriously?  Everywhere Newt has gone these days he’s only seen large crowds.  Granted in the states where Romney’s Super Pac carpet bombed the airwaves with negative attack ads on Newt, I could see it, but nationally you cannot convince me that Newt is losing to Obama.

Just realize these left leaning pollsters are not only being taken seriously by the left, many on the right are using these polls to making judgements about Newt.

I do have a plan.  We need our own “right leaning” polling company… Coming soon!

#250gas is becoming a VERY popular Hashtag!

Newt is definitely onto something with his energy plan to “Drill Here, Drill now”, which would definitely get gas prices to $2.50 per gallon or even lower.

This 250 number has now taken a life of it’s own on Twitter!  Where people are adding #250gas to their tweets.  This could ultimately start driving donations and attention to Newt’s campaign much like Cain’s 9-9-9 plan did for Herman Cain.

If you’re thinking Newt’s goal of getting to $2.50 gas pricer per gallon is some gimmick like apparently Pres Obama does—think again! We need to drill for oil on our own soil, or face even higher gas prices in the future. The middle east is a powder keg ready to blow at any second. The second aspect to Drill Here, Drill now is the creation of jobs, and lots of them.  I dare President Obama to laugh at that!

Newt’s Perfect Response to Obama’s Apology to Afghanistan

Newt was not happy yesterday and for good reason. Two of our troops were killed yesterday by a person posing as a Afghan Army Guard soldier. So what does Pres Obama do? He apologizes to Afghanistan’s President Hamid Karzai for NATO troops burning the Koran. He should have asked for an apology from Karzi for the killings. Or better yet. Just let Newt speak for America from now on. Here is what Newt said:

“My hunch is, since the person who killed them is an Afghan soldier, that that soldier was being paid with American money, armed with American money, trained with American money,” Gingrich said.

The former House speaker delivered a stark warning to the Afghan leader, saying, “If Hamid Karzai, the president of Afghanistan, doesn’t feel like apologizing, then I think we should say good bye and good luck. We don’t need to be here risking our lives and wasting our money on somebody who doesn’t care.”

Rush: Newt Shined At The Debate

Newt Will Win This Debate Tonight on Substance

Newt Gingrich has always said he was going to run a campaign based on solutions and bold ideas. A lot of pundits and GOP elite have tried desparately to write Newt off, but to Newt’s credit they haven’t been able to. The reason: When Newt speaks, many Americans believe he can do what he is saying he’ll do. Why? He has a record of getting things done.

I know you all have heard this a million times before, but what politician since Newt has attempted to balance our budget? Or tried to reform entitlement programs? What politician on his first day as Speaker of the House, kept Congress in Session until 2 AM the next day to pass bills which saved our government by $35 million dollars.  What politician threatened to shut down the Government because Bill Clinton wanted to spend more taxpayer money on pet projects at the Department of Education. Yep. That was all Newt.

I know the polls say one thing, but when the people get to see Newt in these debates, they are again reminded, that he the only one in this campaign that actually sounds like he knows what he is talking about. No soundbites, just solutions. With gas prices in Florida hovering near $6 per gallon, it didn’t surprise me that Newt was talking about how to fix this impending problem weeks ago (Drill Here, Drill Now!).

So enjoy the debate.  It’s going to be a good one, for Newt that is!

Is Romney Obama’s Twin Brother?

I think we can all agree that communicating with people is not one of Mitt Romney’s strengths. Nor is giving a rousing speech unless it’s given from a teleprompter. Does this sound like anyone else you know?

Just ask yourself this question. Who do you know in your life who has been a Democrat, an independent and finally a “severely conservative” Republican in the span of 20 years? No one I know, however I don’t surround myself with people who take polls to figure out where they stand on issues on any given day. To me, Romney’s political metamorphosis points to having a very shallow personality. This is the reason he has an inability to connect with people or animals for that matter.

If Obama had a twin, Romney would be it. The fact Romney is still in favor of Romneycare only strengthens this feeling amongst the Republican base.

Isn’t Our Goal To Beat Obama?

The purpose of the GOP 2012 race should be to elect a nominee who can beat Barack Obama. Right now it seems like we’re trying to nominate someone who is the anti-Romney candidate. The “Anyone but Romney” candidate if you will. We’ve seen many candidates rise up against Romney in the polls, only to then be taken out by the establishment or media. There is only one candidate who came back, again and again. That would be Newt Gingrich.

The way I see it. We should tell the GOP establishment they can have Mitt Romney, and they can also have Rick Santorum. Santorum’s eventual fall is guaranteed based on his record as a free spending Senator, and someone who hasn’t always been the Saint he tries to paint himself as. It’s a fact the reason he lost his 2006 Senate race by over 700,000 votes was because he got caught living in Virginia while trying to claim a empty house in Pennsylvania as his main residence. He also collected $40K in tuition reimbursements from the State of Pennsylvania while his kids resided in Virginia.

The one we should be rallying around is Newt Gingrich who has shown his ability to fend off both media attacks and Romney smear tactics to come back time and time again. Mitt Romney has spent $20 million plus trying to smear Newt, but he can never finish him off. Why? Because Newt actually has a “proven record” of changing Washington, which includes cutting spending. I also truly think at the end of the day. Newt is the person we want up on the debate stage with Obama this fall.

NOTE: If you haven’t you HAVE to watch this video about the 94′ Republican Revolution. WARNING: After watching this you will become a Newt supporter. It’s that compelling of a story.

Santorum Believes The Bible, Not The Constitution Is The Law Of The Land

Don’t me wrong. I’m a person of faith, but this whole dust up with Rick Santorum saying America has been taken over by Satan has got me thinking about his state of mind. I’ve been very leary of him ever since he debated Newt Gingrich in a one-on-one debate in New Hampshire last year. A question about the Constitution came up. It was very revealing what Santorum said next. Basically he puts his faith in the bible and not the Constitution when it comes to the law of the land. When he said this it ran chills down my spine.

If you are a Tea Party member supporting Santorum you may not have realized he doesn’t share your strong support for the constitution Why? To him the Constitution has allowed states to amend the Constitution (10th Amendment), which ultimately has given states the right to approve for instance, Same-Sex Marriage.

It’s his view the law of the land should be based on a moral foundation, which only could come from the bible. At this debate with Newt he talked about the Declaration of Independence (not the Constitution) where it says we are endowed by our Creator which laid the foundation for this “moral authority”. This is why he has publicly said the Government should be allowed to know what goes on in your bedroom because you could possibly be breaking moral covenants with God, and ultimately breaking the law.

So where do I think Santorum’s state of mind is? For a person who professes strongly held religious views, he has alot of inconsistencies in his “moral” judgement when you think about him spending taxpayer money so unwisely, or voting to confirm Judge Sotomayor to the 2nd Circuit 1998, a pro-abortion judge who is now sitting on the Supreme Court.

I’ll say two things. First. If Santorum becomes our nominee we’ll have Barack Obama for four more years–guaranteed! Secondly, I do think if he got the chance he would try to “save” the United States by shutting down or highly regulating the internet, invading our bedrooms, and ultimately having the Government be a moral compass. Instead of putting faith in the good people of this country. Santorum believes the government can “fix” things–morally that is. I strongly disagree of course!
